Job summary

MEP Enviro Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced logistics professional based in Malaysia to manage import/export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and HS codes. The role involves supporting regulatory reporting and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve logistical issues.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in the LMW field, strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables) and good communication in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in LMW related field.
• Familiar with customs process workflows, import/export declarations, and HS codes.
• Good understanding of import & export procedures and customs operations.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel (Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all import/export activities comply with customs regulations and related laws.
• Assist in preparing and updating monthly reports related to LMW, MBSP, police, and other regulatory obligations.
• Address and resolve logistical issues as they arise.
• Support import/export operations while ensuring compliance with policies, licenses, and regulations.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.

• Ensure all import/export activities comply with Customs regulations, including HS Code classification, duties, service tax, MBSP, SIRIM, police, and other relevant government requirements, as well as adherence to sales tax and other local and international laws.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of monthly reports related to LMW, MBSP, police, and other regulatory obligations.
• Address and resolve logistical issues as they arise.
• Support import and export operations while ensuring compliance with applicable government policies, licenses, and regulations.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in LMW related field.
• Familiar with customs process workflows with hands-on experience on import/export declarations and goods classification, duty/tax assessment, all shipment mode and warehousing.
• Good understanding of import & export procedures, Customs operation and HS codes knowledge.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel (familiar with intermediate skills such as Pivot Table, Vlookup) and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage for handling documentation and communication with regional partners.
• Mandarin Speaker is an added advantage.
