Job summary

Michael Page Malaysia seeks a Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end inbound supply, from PO management through customs clearance and warehouse receipt, in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and 3PLs to ensure timely shipments and inventory accuracy, monitor KPIs, and lead improvements across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, import/export, or supply chain operations.
• FMCG/consumer goods or fast-paced industries experience advantageous.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, especially JDE or equivalent.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Adaptable and proactive in dynamic supply chain environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound supply process from PO to customs clearance and warehouse receipt.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL to ensure shipment and inventory availability.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, and drive issue resolution.
• Lead inventory reconciliation across ERP, WMS, and stock.
• Manage adjustments, transfers, and stock discrepancy investigations.
• Oversee packaging activities and coordinate stock with business needs.
• Support customs compliance and import/export documentation.
• Partner with Finance, CS, Sales, Marketing, and SC teams for month-end close.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce risks.

Description

• Manage the end-to-end inbound supply process from purchase order management through customs clearance and warehouse receipt.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless shipment execution and inventory availability.
• Monitor logistics performance, service levels, and operational KPIs while driving issue resolution and process improvements.
• Lead inventory reconciliation activities between ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and physical stock.
• Manage inventory adjustments, warehouse transfers, and stock discrepancy investigations.
• Oversee value-added packaging activities and coordinate stock availability with business requirements.
• Investigate logistics exceptions, product damages, and operational incidents while coordinating appropriate corrective actions.
• Support customs compliance, import and export documentation, and logistics-related financial reporting activities.
• Partner with Finance, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient operations and timely month-end closing activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational risks.

Profile

A successful Logistics Executive should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience within logistics, warehousing, import/export, or supply chain operations.
• Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceutical, wine & spirits, or similarly fast-paced industries will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly JDE or equivalent platforms.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Adaptable, proactive, and capable of operating in a dynamic supply chain environment.
