Job summary

JK Precast Sdn Bhd, a Senai-based precast manufacturer, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Johor Seelong facility. You will coordinate warehousing, inventory flow and shipments to ensure timely deliveries and high service levels.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or higher in Logistics or related field, have 1–2 years in warehousing or logistics, and are proficient with WMS and MS Office. Strong organisation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and dispatching of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
• Schedule and coordinate shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers
• Liaise with transport providers, suppliers and customers to arrange logistics activities
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists and delivery notes
• Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and customers
• Identify and resolve logistics issues, including delays or discrepancies in deliveries
• Maintain compliance with warehouse safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Support inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise warehouse operations and reduce costs

About the role We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our Seelong facility in Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehousing and distribution activities. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising logistics operations, managing inventory flows, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. This position is strategic to our operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and dispatching of goods

What we're looking for

Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field

Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre or logistics environment (at least 1-2 years)

Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation

Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including standing for extended periods

Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in warehousing operations
