Job summary

Yonhin Sdn Bhd is seeking a procurement professional in Kedah to manage stock planning and supplier communications. You will monitor stock levels, analyze trends, and prepare purchase orders based on replenishment needs.

The role requires at least 2 years in procurement or related fields, with strong negotiation skills and Excel proficiency. A detail-oriented, organized approach and willingness to learn are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in procurement, purchasing, stock control, or related roles.
• Strong stock analysis, sales trend awareness, and ROP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and preparing purchase orders based on stock movement.
• Monitor stock levels and support reorder planning using ROP system.
• Analyze sales trends, stock movement, shortages, and slow-moving items before orders.
• Follow up with suppliers on quotations, delivery status and availability.
• Compare supplier pricing, lead time, and conditions before approval.
• Maintain purchasing records, supplier files, and documentation.
• Coordinate with inventory, warehouse and outlets for replenishment.
• Monitor out-of-stock items, delays, and abnormal purchasing issues.
• Support sourcing, supplier communication and daily procurement tasks.
• Prepare weekly/monthly purchasing and stock analysis reports.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with procedures and approvals.
• Handle ad-hoc procurement and stock planning tasks.

• Compare supplier pricing, lead time, and product conditions before submission for approval
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier files, and related documentation
• Work closely with inventory, warehouse, and outlet teams to ensure timely replenishment
• Monitor out-of-stock items, delivery delays, and abnormal purchasing issues
• Support sourcing, supplier communication, and daily procurement coordination
• Prepare weekly/monthly purchasing and stock analysis reports
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company procedures and approval processes
• Handle ad-hoc procurement and stock planning tasks assigned by management
