Job summary

Computacenter Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Logistics and Trade Operation Lead to oversee end-to-end import/export, inbound and outbound logistics, and distribution across APAC markets.

You will provide guidance on cross-border processes, implement SOPs and governance, and ensure audit readiness while leveraging ERP systems for control and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in end-to-end import and export operations, customs processes, and trade compliance.
• Background in IT distribution, technology sourcing, or a logistics environment with regional/APAC cross-border exposure.
• Experience developing and implementing SOPs, governance frameworks, and operational controls.
• Familiarity with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
• Strong experience managing 3PLs, freight forwarders, and logistics vendors.
• Hands-on and commercially minded, with the ability to operate strategically and execute operationally.
• Current or aspiring people leader with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Occasional regional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end import, export, inbound, outbound, and distribution operations across regional markets.
• Provide guidance on cross-border logistics, sourcing flows, customs processes, and trade compliance.
• Establish and implement SOPs, policies, governance frameworks, and documentation controls.
• Ensure group trade compliance standards are translated into local processes and audit readiness.
• Utilize ERP and logistics systems to improve control, inventory, and order-to-delivery processes; integrate 3PL systems.
• Manage 3PLs, freight forwarders, and logistics vendors; monitor SLAs and costs.
• Drive standardization, reporting, controls, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with commercial, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor operational risks, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Lead or develop a team towards operational excellence.

Manage and hold 3PLs, freight forwarders, and logistics vendors accountable for SLAs, costs, and service performance.

Drive process standardization, reporting, controls, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives.

Partner closely with commercial, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution across complex logistics flows.

Monitor operational risks, compliance, and audit requirements.

Lead or develop a team towards operational excellence.

Requirements
