Job summary

Flex is a global manufacturing partner based in Penang, Malaysia, seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate daily logistics activities and ensure accurate shipment execution in line with SOPs. The role involves collaborating with the Program Team and Warehouse Team to arrange shipments, and to work with forwarders to schedule pickups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistic activities and execute according to SOP
• Check to ensure all Finished Goods are arranged correctly for shipment
• Ensure proper system transaction and correct invoice to customers
• Update shipping details such as packing, shipping, and routing of product.
• Planning on shipment schedule
• To coordinate with Program Team & Warehouse Team for shipment arrangement
• To work with forwarders for shipment pick up schedule
• Ensure on time delivery according to shipment plan
• Support Logistics Operational Processes and Continuous Improvement Project
• Streamline shipping process and ensure continuous improvement to standard logistics process.
• Ensure that movement of goods are compliance to legal and statutory requirement (Customs & Compliance).
• Responsible for Safety and 5S in warehouse by ensure subordinates adhere/comply to 5S principles, Security and Safety Compliances at workplace
