Job summary

SENG WEI TRANSPORT SDN BHD in Senai, Johor is seeking a logistics supervisor to oversee drivers and coordinate cement, sand and aggregate deliveries. You will plan routes, assign schedules and communicate daily operational instructions to drivers.

Responsibilities include monitoring delivery progress, liaising with customers and site staff, and ensuring records and documents are complete and accurate. Applicants should be ready to ensure timely, safe deliveries and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

Experience working with logistics, freight and delivery services.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Responsible, organised and willing to learn.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Oversee, supervise and coordinate drivers assigned to cement tanker and tipper lorry operations to ensure smooth daily operations.
Plan, organize, execute and monitor the transportation of cement, sand, aggregates and other construction-related materials to ensure timely, efficient and safe deliveries.
Prepare, assign and communicate daily work schedules and operational instructions to drivers, including loading and unloading locations, delivery routes and customer requirements.
Monitor the progress of deliveries, follow up with drivers and ensure all deliveries are completed according to the planned schedule. Liaise with customers, site supervisors and project personnel regarding delivery schedules, shipment status and operational requirements, and resolve any delivery-related issues promptly.
Manage and verify operational documents, including Delivery Orders (DO), Delivery Notes (DN), weighbridge tickets and other related documents, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
Coordinate with the Workshop Department regarding vehicle breakdowns, repairs and maintenance scheduling, and keep customers informed of any operational delays.
Monitor driver attendance, performance and compliance with the Company's safety policies, procedures and relevant regulations, and report any non-compliance to Management.
Ensure efficient fleet utilisation by coordinating vehicle allocation, driver deployment and daily operational resources.
Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to the Management on delivery performance, operational issues and other related matters.
Perform any other operational-related duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
