Job summary

Yokogawa Malaysia in Subang Jaya is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage local and overseas air, sea and road shipments, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and ensure accurate order processing and compliance with export controls. You will review invoices, prepare COO documents, monitor inventory and backlog, and support audits.

Degree in logistics or related field, 2–3 years experience, strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills, and knowledge of SAP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in logistics, procurement, purchasing, supply chain or related business study.
• Prefer 2–3 years of experience in a similar field.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process local and overseas air, sea, and road shipment.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers for import and outbound shipping instructions.
• Negotiate freight charges and rates with forwarders/packers for approval.
• Verify and process logistic invoices & payment requests.
• Process and send COO documents to Chamber of Commerce for processing.
• Attend to statutory and compliance audits (ISO, Internal, J-SOX, Singapore Customs).
• Review customer orders for accuracy and export-control compliance.
• Handle service inquiries, customer complaints and resolve issues with related departments.
• Review inventory holding, backlog and follow up on overdue billing.

• Receive and process local and overseas air, sea, and road shipment:

• Review inventory holding, backlog and follow up on overdue billing.

• Prepare COO documents and submit to Chamber of Commerce for processing.

• Attend to statutory and compliance audit (I SO Audit, Internal Audit, J-SOX Audit & Singapore Custom Audit).

• Review customer orders for accuracy and completeness and make sure orders are processed incompliance to order entry procedures and export control compliance, etc.

• Handle and respond to issues such as service inquiries, customer complaints, problem resolution, etc. and work with relevant departments to resolve it.

Requirement

• Degree/Diploma in Logistic or Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or any business study.

• Prefer 2 to 3 years working experience in similar field.

• Good computer skill in PowerPoint, Microsoft Words & Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of SAP system would be an added advantage.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, independent and able to work in team.
