Job summary

Yokogawa Electric (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable engineer to support EPCC bids and project delivery across Oil & Gas, Chemical, Palm Oil, and related industries. You will gain exposure to Yokogawa automation products and IIoT solutions, with site work and customer presentations as part of responsibilities.

Fresh graduates are welcome; travel across Malaysia is expected when required, and English communications are essential for technical discussions and proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering in Instrumentation/Chemical/Electrical & Electronic/Mechanical or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; knowledge of process field instrument selection and application is a plus.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; capable of technical presentations to customers.
• Willing to travel occasionally throughout Malaysia with own transport; site work when required.

• Prepare proposal and tender bid, handle technical clarifications and source suitable products to complete total solution for customers.
• Support the product team in project execution and delivery.
• Provide technical support to the team and customers including site surveys, demos and presentations.

Job Highlights

• In charge of proposal preparation, bidding process, project pursuit and product project execution for EPCC customers from industry of Oil & Gas, Chemical, Palm Oil & Oleochem and etc.
• Build up skills in Yokogawa Industrial Automation Products and IIOT Solutions such as Field Instrument, Analyzer, Quality Control System, Network Solutions, Product Solutions and other products which are widely used in Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, Paper, F&B and other General Industries.

Key Responsibilities

Support team manager in Yokogawa Product SBU daily business including below activities:

• Prepare proposal and tender bid, handle technical clarification and source suitable products to complete total solution for customers.
• Support the product team in project execution and delivery.
• Provide technical support to the team and customers including site survey, demo and presentation.

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering study preferably in Instrumentation / Chemical / Electrical & Electronic / Mechanical and its equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply while knowledge of process field instrument selection and application with experience in related industry would be an added advantage.
• Proficient in verbal and written English and capable of making technical presentations to customers
• Self-motivated with initiative and strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Must be able to travel occasionally throughout Malaysia with own transport and willing to attend site work whenever required.
