Job summary

Nashili & Co in Malaysia is seeking a Litigation Clerk (no/with experience) to assist lawyers with civil proceedings, bankruptcy filings, and client communications. The role involves formatting briefs, tracking time records, filing documents (e-filing preferred), and drafting court papers under supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least SPM, strong written and verbal skills, and a willingness to start immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM
• Candidate with or without experience needed
• Possess good written and verbal skills
• Familiar in handling bankruptcy and certain court procedures is an advantage
• Preferable Bumiputera candidate and can start working immediately

Responsibilities

• Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents
• Keeping track of attorney time records and billing
• Filing legal documents (e-filing skills are preferred)
• Corresponding with clients
• Drafting and filing documents required for the bankruptcy process
• Assist lawyers in preparing summons until obtaining Judgement in civil proceedings
