Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of litigation experience.
• Possess a valid Practising Certificate.
• Able to independently handle general litigation matters including case management, hearings and trials.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of civil and commercial litigation files.
• Draft pleadings, cause papers, affidavits, opinions and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and prepare submissions.
• Review and organize evidence and attend case management, hearings and trials as required.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Litigation Associate based in Seri Kembangan. The Litigation Associate will assist in managing a portfolio of civil and commercial litigation files, including drafting pleadings, cause papers, affidavits, legal opinions, and correspondence. Daily tasks include conducting legal research, preparing submissions, reviewing and organizing evidence, and attending case management, hearings, and trials as required. The associate will liaise with clients, counsel, and court staff, help develop case strategies, and ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met. The role also involves supporting senior lawyers, maintaining accurate file records, and contributing to internal knowledge sharing and practice development.

Requirements

• requirement: 3 to 5 years experience;
• Possess a valid Practising Certificate;
• Able to independently handle and assist the firm in general litigation matters;
