Job summary

IHCMVGCLaw is a specialized multi-service law firm seeking legal associates for both litigation and corporate/conveyancing divisions. This full-time on-site role (HQ PJ) targets candidates admitted to the High Court of Malaya with a law degree and PQE 2+.

You will handle general litigation or corporate/conveyancing matters, conduct legal research, and work toward team KPIs within a collaborative setting. A competitive salary scheme in Klang Valley is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law/LLB.
• PQE 2+ (excluding pupillage and internship).
• Admitted as advocates & solicitors of the High Court of Malaya.
• Able to work independently.
• Passionate about being a lawyer.
• Strong command in legal research.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a legal team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.
• Willing to work towards team objectives and KPIs.
• Exposure and knowledge on social media platforms would be an addition.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation files for the litigation division.
• Handle corporate and conveyancing files for corporate/conveyancing division.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Support CPD events sponsorships and firm activities as needed.

The Role:

This is a full-time on-site role for a legal associate at IHCMVGCLaw (HQ PJ). We are currently looking for legal associates for both our litigation and corporate/conveyancing divisions.

Qualifications

• admitted as advocates & solicitors of the High Court of Malaya
• Bachelor's degree in law/LLB
• PQE 2+ (excluding pupillage and internship)

• Experienced in handling general litigation files (for litigation positions) and/or corporate conveyancing files (for corporate and conveyancing positions); must have at least completed matters at work.
