Qualifications

What Is the Senior Associate (Dispute Resolution) Role?

• Strategic Lead Advocate: Manage and argue complex commercial disputes in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and ADR forums.
• Client Portfolio Leader: Act as a primary advisor to corporate executives, tech innovators, and SMEs on litigation risk management.
• Practice Diversity: Handle a spectrum of matters including corporate governance (s. 346 oppression), commercial debt recovery, summary judgment applications, and industrial relations disputes.
• Mentorship: Guide junior associates and pupils, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Who We Are Looking For

We are searching for strong advocacy fundamentals and a willingness to solve complex legal puzzles. We do not expect perfection on day one, but we value a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

• Experience: Ideally 4 to 7 years of active civil and commercial litigation experience as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. (If you fall outside this range but possess exceptional appellate or trial experience, we warmly invite you to apply).
• Drafting & Advocacy: Demonstrated ability in drafting complex pleadings, interlocutory cause papers, and conducting hearings.
• Communication: Clear, concise, and commercially aware communication in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
