Job summary

Louis Liaw Chambers in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Legal Associate to join our Employment-focused practice. You will lead files, draft high-level pleadings, review contracts and opinions, and manage client relationships with independence and strategic insight.

Successful candidates will handle trials, hearings, mediations, and negotiations while supervising junior lawyers. The role offers substantial responsibility, upward career potential, and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years PQE in Employment Law or related field.
• Minimum Law degree with strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Responsible, resourceful, and possesses integrity.
• Passionate about Employment Law with a proven track record in employment matters.

We are a law firm based in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on Employment-related Dispute Resolution and Advisory.

We are looking for a Senior Legal Associate to join our growing practice.

The successful candidate is expected to:

• Lead files confidently and provide strategic legal advice and representation;
• Draft and review high-level pleadings, contracts, and legal opinions;
• Manage client relationships well and build clientele;
• Handle trials, hearings, mediations, and negotiations independently; and
• Supervise juniors and ensure high-quality, timely work delivery

The successful candidate can expect:

• A wage of RM7,500 - RM10,000 (depending on experience and ability)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3-7 years PQE
• Minimum Second Upper Class Law Degree
