Job summary

Hexamatics Servvcom Sdn Bhd is seeking an Application Support professional to back CPA Project applications in an air-gapped environment. The role focuses on incident management, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and change management to ensure stability of business-critical software.

You will work with Linux, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Huawei Cloud Stack and SQL, documenting actions in runbooks and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Linux/RHEL environments
• Exposure to container/Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift)
• Familiarity with Huawei Cloud Stack or other private/hybrid clouds
• Basic SQL for querying and troubleshooting data issues

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for business-critical applications within an air-gapped network
• Identify and triage application issues and route to the appropriate team for resolution
• Monitor application and platform health using on-premises/local monitoring tools; escalations per incident procedures
• Perform basic operational tasks (service restarts, log checks, resource checks) as part of first-line support
• Support secure methods for transferring code releases, patches, and logs across the air gap, following chain-of-custody procedures
• Assist with executing deployments and version upgrades in an offline/restricted-network setting
• Support basic root cause investigation by gathering logs and documenting findings for developers/platform teams
• Maintain and update support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
• Support user access management, environment configuration, and minor data fixes
• Participate in change management processes with proper testing and documentation
• Maintain detailed logs of all changes, transfers, and incidents for audit/compliance
• Follow physical and information security controls (e.g., no unauthorized devices, access logging)
