Job summary

RZB Lighting Asia & Pacific Sdn Bhd – Puchong in Malaysia is seeking a Lighting Designer to support the design and sales team by producing lighting plan layouts quickly and efficiently for projects. You will generate lighting simulation reports using Dialux EVO, read and interpret architecture/ID/mechanical/electrical drawings, and collaborate with marketing, engineering and costing to meet deadlines.

The role requires a Diploma in ID or engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD and Relux, fluent

Qualifications

• Diploma in ID or engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in light planning or related fields will be favored.
• SketchUp + Vray is a plus.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills are essential.
• Own transport is required.
• Malaysian citizen or eligible resident status.

Responsibilities

• Support design and sales team by producing lighting plan layouts quickly and efficiently.
• Produce lighting simulation reports using Dialux EVO.
• Read and interpret architecture/ID/mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering and costing departments.
• Handle tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Report project status to the Head of Department.

LIGHTING DESIGNER – PROJECT DIVISION (Puchong, Malaysia)

To support the design and sales team by producing lighting plan layout fast and efficiently.

To produce lighting simulation report using Dialux EVO simulation software.

Able to read and interpret architecture/ID/mechanical/electrical drawings.

Able to work closely with the marketing, engineering and costing department.

Can handle tight deadlines and is able to work under pressure.

Constantly report to the Head of Department on the latest project status.

Job requirements:

Primary software proficiency: Autocad[essential], Dialux EVO

Secondary software proficiency: MS Excel, Relux, Google drive.

Minimum Diploma in ID/ engineering work experience in a similar position or equivalence

Candidates with experience in Light planning firms, M&E engineering firms, and interior design firms will be given priority.

Proficiency in Sketchup Vray is an added advantage.

Fluent English with strong communication skills is essential.

Possess own transport.
