Job summary

Sutera Satu Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking a competent Lifting Supervisor to coordinate and supervise safe lifting operations during MRT engineering hours. You will review lifting plans, inspect gear, and lead briefings to ensure strict adherence to safety controls.

You should hold a valid Lifting Supervisor competency certificate and have proven experience supervising crane operations. Night shifts and MRT projects are part of the role, with rail experience considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Holding a valid Lifting Supervisor competency certificate.
• Relevant experience supervising crane and lifting operations.
• Available for night work during MRT engineering hours; rail/MRT project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review lifting plans, method statements, relevant work permits and lifting sequences before work commences
• Check site readiness, including crane access, setup location, working radius and exclusion zones
• Verify that cranes, lifting gear and accessories are suitable for the planned works, with valid inspection and certification records where required
• Lead toolbox talks and pre-lifting briefings to ensure the lifting team understands the approved plan, responsibilities and safety controls
• Supervise lifting operations in accordance with approved requirements and stop work if unsafe conditions arise
