Job summary

AME Construction Sdn. Bhd. invites a proactive Lifting Supervisor to join its growing projects in Malaysia. You will prepare and review lifting plans, coordinate all lifting activities, and brief the team on risk controls and safe lifting procedures.

The role requires at least 3 years of lifting operations experience on construction sites and a valid Lifting Supervisor Competency certification. You will support crane inspections, field logistics, and safety initiatives on site.

Qualifications

• Valid Lifting Supervisor Competency certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction projects involving lifting operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare / review lifting plan for lifting activities.
• Coordinate and supervise all lifting activities in accordance with the lifting plan.
• Brief all lifting team members on the lifting plan, risk control measures and safe lifting procedures before lifting operations begin.
• Ensure that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers and appointed signalmen participate in lifting operations involving cranes (crawler, mobile and tower).
• Ensure that ground conditions and crane positions are safe for lifting operations performed by cranes.
• Be present during all lifting operations and take corrective action if unsafe conditions are observed.
• Assist crane operator to conduct crane and lifting gears inspection and maintain inspection reports.
• Assist project team on site logistics planning and traffic management arrangements.
• Assist safety department with machinery inspections, housekeeping, toolbox talks and daily site observations.
• Provide full support to AMECSB HSE in lifting safety.
• Assist in DOSH inspections for crane fitness certificates renewal.
• Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by management.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare / review lifting plan for lifting activities
• Coordinating and supervising all lifting activities in accordance with the lifting plan.
• Briefing all lifting team members on the lifting plan, risk control measure and safe lifting procedure before the commencement of any lifting operation.
• Ensuring that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers and appointed signalman to participate in any lifting operation involving the use of cranes (crawler, mobile and tower cranes).
• Ensuring that the ground conditions and crane position are safe for any lifting operation to be performed by cranes (crawler / mobile).
• Be present during all lifting operations and if unsafe conditions are reported to him, to take suitable measures to rectify the conditions so that the lifting operation can be conducted safely.
• Assist crane operator to conduct crane & lifting gears inspection & maintained inspection report
• Assist project team on site logistic plan & traffic management arrangement
• Assist safety department conduction machinery inspection, organizing HSE program (eg housekeeping, toolbox, daily site observation etc)
• Give full support to AMECSB HSE department on lifting safety.
• Assist in DOSH Inspection for any crane fitness certificate renewal
• Any ad hoc duties assigned by the management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Possess valid Lifting Supervisor Competency certification.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction projects involving lifting operations
