Job summary

Empresaria Group plc seeks an experienced Life Insurance Underwriter to join our team. The role focuses on underwrite proposals per guidelines, assess medical, financial, occupational, and lifestyle risks, and handle high-value cases within delegated authority, including Singapore market coverage.

The candidate will review medical reports, decide on acceptance or exclusions, and provide guidance to junior underwriters while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely turnaround.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; insurance/underwriting certification is an advantage.
• 5–6 years of experience in Life Insurance Underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of technical and medical underwriting.
• Experience handling complex and high-sum-assured cases.
• Covering Singapore market.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
