• Experience handling government tenders, RFQ and institutional procurement.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills for complex sales cycles.
• Discipline in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Effective written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Learn life science research products and services offered by the company.
• Sell assigned research products and territory coverage.
• Respond to sales enquiries via email, post, phone and visits.
• Conduct pre-sales demos and product presentations with technical knowledge.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipeline and forecast for visibility.
• Liaise with principals for technical support, pricing approvals and promotions.
• Coordinate instrument evaluations and loan units for conversion.
• Lead strategic account planning and identify long-term growth opportunities.
• Maximize opportunities to close sales and maintain market research.
• Build good customer relations and provide support to all customers.
• Provide training and coaching to team members.
