Job summary

Liberty General Insurance Berhad is seeking an Executive in Liability Underwriting to support the Head of Liability. The role focuses on risk assessment, pricing, and maintaining underwriting controls within regulatory guidelines to achieve optimal profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk acceptance according to underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare quotations/modify quotation slips for risks.
• Monitor portfolio and metrics related to underwriting activities and data analytics.
• Update underwriting policies and procedures timely.
• Assist in system implementations and UAT testing.
• Assist in training to build technical knowledge within the organization.
• Ensure efficient administration of day-to-day operations across support functions.
• Provide technical support for distributions as required.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and authority limits.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
