Job summary

Liberty General Insurance Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Technical Underwriting Training & Development Manager to lead the APAC training pillar of the Underwriting Excellence program. You will build competency frameworks, learning pathways, and certification models to uplift capability and align with CUOs’ priorities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in learning/capability development within a regulated environment.
• Practical underwriting knowledge to shape technical content.
• Proven experience building competency frameworks and certification programs.

Responsibilities

• Define APAC underwriting capability strategy and multi-year learning roadmap.
• Translate priorities into training targets, curriculum plans and resourcing.
• Design and maintain role-based competency frameworks; ensure certification standards.
• Lead design and delivery of blended learning including e-learning and workshops.
• Oversee LMS strategy and analytics, enrollment, assessments and reporting.
• Drive change enablement and adoption for system, product and governance changes.
• Engage stakeholders across CUOs, Product Heads, HR, and markets; manage budgets and partners.
• Lead a regional training team and drive continuous improvement in training.
