HeiTech Padu Berhad is seeking a seasoned in-house or practice-based Legal Counsel with 5–10 years of experience to provide broad legal support across corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters in Malaysia. The role involves reviewing and negotiating agreements, managing risks, and advising stakeholders on strategic initiatives.

• Experience handling procurement, project, employment, or regulatory matters is preferred.

Provide legal advice and support on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.

Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, tenders, MOUs, NDAs, and SLAs.

Manage legal risks, disputes, claims, litigation, and contract-related issues.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate governance, and company policies.

Lead and support stakeholders across business units on legal, contractual, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Strong experience in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, and legal risk management.

Sound knowledge of Malaysian laws, corporate governance, and compliance requirements.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple legal matters independently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience handling procurement, project, employment, or regulatory matters is preferred.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent recognized qualification.

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in legal practice and/or an in-house legal role.

Proven experience in contract management, legal advisory, and compliance functions.

Experience in ICT, technology, system integration, government projects, or PLC environment is an advantage.

Admission to the Malaysian Bar will be an added advantage.

Candidates who are available to join immediately will be an added advantage.
