Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Legal Intern to gain hands-on exposure to real-world litigation practice and the day-to-day operations of a functioning legal office.

You will assist with document preparation, court-related correspondence, and regulatory workflows with bodies such as the Land Office and other government agencies, while developing your research, drafting, and professional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing LL.B or holding LL.B qualification.
• Strong legal research foundation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and document drafting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Legal Intern who is keen to gain hands-on exposure to real-world litigation practice and the day-to-day operations of a functioning legal office.

This internship willl provide meaningful practical experience beyond academic study, allowing you to develop professional skills essential for practice.

What You Will Gain

• Practical Litigation Exposure Direct insight into how litigation files are managed from commencement to resolution, including document preparation, court-related correspondence, and procedural compliance.
• File Management & Administrative Competency Training in proper file organisation, document control, and record keeping. These are foundational skills for effective legal practice.
• Regulatory & Institutional Familiarity Exposure to dealings with authorities such as the Land Office, Amanah Raya, and other government bodies, giving you practical understanding of procedural workflows outside the courtroom.
