Job summary

Evergreen Max Cash Capital Berhad is seeking a diligent legal/compliance professional to assist management with regulatory affairs and corporate governance. The role involves researching Malaysian laws, drafting and reviewing agreements, and coordinating with external counsel and authorities.

The ideal candidate holds a law degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience and is proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysian laws, particularly the Companies Act 2016, corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in contract drafting, legal research, corporate affairs or company secretarial matters is an advantage.
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

This role involves assisting management in legal, corporate affairs and regulatory compliance matters within a Bursa Malaysia-listed group. You will conduct legal research, draft and review agreements and corporate documents, liaise with external lawyers and regulatory authorities, and support corporate governance and compliance initiatives.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or a related qualification with relevant legal or corporate compliance experience

Preferably 2–5 years of relevant working experience

Familiar with Malaysian laws, particularly the Companies Act 2016, corporate governance and regulatory requirements

Experience in contract drafting, legal research, corporate affairs or company secretarial matters is an advantage

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia

Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage for business communication

Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

Independent, detail-oriented and able to handle confidential matters professionally

Fresh law graduates with relevant internship or practical experience are also encouraged to apply
