Job summary

Oriental Sunrise Engineering Sdn. Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Executive in Kuala Lumpur to support contract administration, compliance monitoring, and ISO management system implementation.

You will work closely with management, the ISO consultant, and external parties to ensure proper documentation and audit coordination. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Law, 1–3 years of experience in legal administration or ISO management, and solid knowledge of Malaysian

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in legal administration, contract management, compliance, or ISO management systems.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian legal and regulatory requirements.
• Experience or familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 37001, or anti-bribery compliance is an advantage.
• Good documentation, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, maintaining, and filing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 37001 with the appointed consultant.
• Maintain ISO documents, policies, procedures, records, and compliance registers.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare supporting documents, and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and internal procedures.
• Support anti-bribery and anti-corruption initiatives, including compliance documentation and risk assessment activities.
• Coordinate the company's whistleblowing process, maintain confidential records, and escalate concerns to management or China Headquarters through approved channels.
• Liaise with external lawyers, consultants, auditors, and relevant authorities on legal and compliance matters.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
