Job summary

Louis, Tai & Partners is expanding and inviting applications for an Associate to join our corporate law team in Kuala Lumpur. If you are passionate about M&A and enjoy drafting, reviewing, vetting and preparing a broad range of corporate contracts, this is your next career move.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years’ experience in a reputable firm, a Second Upper Class Honours LLB, and a drive to learn and grow within a collaborative environment. English and Malay language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a reputable medium or large law firm with experience in M&A and drafting, reviewing, vetting and preparing a broad range of corporate and commercial contracts
• A keen interest and passion for corporate law
• Fluent in English and Malay
• Strong academic background in law with Second Upper Class Honours LLB or higher
• Self-starter who thrives on autonomy but works well in a team
• Energetic and driven to learn and broaden knowledge base
