Job summary

Kalexius Malaysia seeks a Legal Associate for its Kuala Lumpur office, located in Mid Valley. You will ensure compliance, maintain corporate records, and draft key documents for entities across jurisdictions.

The role involves coordinating with local law firms and service providers, conducting targeted legal research, and performing admin duties under supervision. The ideal candidate has a law degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong English and Mandarin skills.

Qualifications

• Law degree required.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Chinese language skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of legal entities with laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
• Maintain and organize legal documentation including by-laws, contracts, and minutes.
• Draft and revise documents for legal entities.
• Coordinate work with local law firms and corporate service providers.
• Conduct research in the unit's specialist field.
• Handle administrative tasks as assigned by the manager.

As we continue to expand our team, we are looking for a Legal Associate to join our Malaysia Office, located in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.

Missions

• Ensure compliance of legal entities with laws and regulations across various jurisdictions;
• Maintain and organize legal documentation, including by-laws, contracts, minutes of meetings, and other relevant legal documents;
• Draft and revise documents relating to legal entities;
• Coordinate the work of local law firms and corporate service providers in various jurisdictions;
• Conduct research in the business unit's specialist field;
• Carry out administrative and legal tasks assigned by the manager.

Profile

• Law degree;
• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; good command of Chinese (Mandarin);
• Ability to interpret applicable laws, regulations and case law;
• Proactive, curious, rigorous, detail-oriented, professional and organized (deadlines and priority management);
• Good oral communication skills;
• Sense of service and team spirit.
• Remuneration offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the candidate.
