We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Legal Admin to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak on a full-time basis. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our legal and administrative functions, providing critical support to our legal team and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Legal Admin will be responsible for managing legal documentation, maintaining filing systems, and providing administrative support that enables our organisation to operate efficiently and within all legal frameworks.
Preparing, organising and maintaining legal documents, contracts, and correspondence in both physical and digital formats
Managing legal files and ensuring accurate record-keeping and document filing systems
Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments and legal consultations for legal staff and clients
Assisting with the preparation of legal documents, pleadings, motions and other court filings
Liaising with courts, regulatory bodies, clients and external legal representatives to obtain information and updates
Supporting the management of legal databases and tracking systems to ensure timely deadline compliance
Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls and general enquiries
Providing administrative support for legal matters including billing, invoicing and financial record management
Assisting with legal research and compilation of legal information as requested
Ensuring all legal documents comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
Completed secondary education with additional qualification in law, paralegal studies, or business administration preferred
Proven experience working in a legal environment, law firm, or paralegal role
Strong organisational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in legal terminology and understanding of legal procedures and documentation
Proficiency with legal software, document management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously whilst maintaining accuracy
Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills with a professional demeanour
Discretion and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
