Job summary

UNIKL MITEC seeks a Lecturer for the Student Development Section to plan, deliver, and assess teaching activities, while monitoring attendance and coordinating student programs. The role requires a Master’s degree in Education or related field and strong communication and organizational abilities.

The ideal candidate will contribute to professional development, participate in examinations, and maintain teaching materials and records for each semester.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field required.
• Experience in teaching and facilitating learning in diverse educational environments.
• Experience in assessing students’ coursework and performance.
• Experience in monitoring and managing student attendance.
• Experience in examination endorsement and academic meetings.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining teaching materials and documentation.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Good networking and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of current educational standards and practices.
• Understanding of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment.
• Strong student engagement, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver teaching and learning activities, including teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Monitor student attendance throughout the semester and initiate appropriate follow-up actions, including the issuance of warning letters where required.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage student activities under Student Development courses.
• Participate in training, workshops, and professional development programmes organized by the campus or CIDEX.
• Complete, maintain, and submit teaching files and relevant academic documentation at the end of each semester.
