Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking a Leasing Executive to support planning, organization, and implementation of the retail mall's leasing and tenancy mix. You will constantly review tenant mixes to reflect market trends and focus on securing new and renewing tenants.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, organizing, and effectively implementing the leasing plan and tenancy mix for the retail mall.

Constantly review and evaluate the tenant mix to ensure relevance, with a focus on the latest retail concepts, brands, products, and services in line with market conditions.

Identify and secure potential tenants, initiating negotiations, preparing proposals, and finalizing retail lease agreements for both new and renewing tenants.

Foster strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants.

Liaise closely with inter-departments on matters related to rental, deposit collection, fit-out, and operations.

Monitor and analyze tenants' sales turnover, making recommendations for renewals, relocations, terminations, or assistance.

Respond to and follow up on leasing inquiries and complaints.

Assist in preparing monthly reports on occupancy rates and commercial lease-related matters for management.

Provide support to the project team and other departments in tenant fit-out works.

Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Job Requirements:

Possess a Degree in Marketing/Real Estate Management or a related discipline.

At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
