Job summary

A Learning & Development Specialist at Azelis will design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences across digital, virtual, and classroom formats. The role translates business needs into learner-centered solutions and manages learning records and reporting.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, this global role requires partnering with stakeholders and vendors to continuously improve learning effectiveness and outcomes for diverse audiences across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in online and in-person learning development.
• Expertise in adult-learning principles and end-to-end instructional design.
• Ability to write, edit, and proofread instructional content.
• Strong project management and multi-project delivery.
• Ability to translate complex topics into accessible formats.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning content across formats (courses, presentations, videos, handouts).
• Create engaging learning journeys and storyboards.
• Utilize e-learning tools and AI to produce high-quality content.
• Design learning experiences across self-paced, virtual, and in-person formats.
• Ensure content lands with a global audience.
• Translate complex material into accessible formats without losing accuracy.
• Maintain LMS (Workday Learning) configuration, content, tracking, and reporting.
• Deliver live training sessions and webinars; facilitate classroom training as needed.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and stakeholders.
• Lead multiple projects, delivering high-quality work on time.
• Maintain training dashboards and stay current with learning trends.
