Job summary

Boston Scientific, a global medical technology leader, seeks an Industrial Engineer to drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in Penang. You will lead Kaizen initiatives, support value stream mapping, and collaborate with R&D and Equipment Engineering to ensure new products and processes meet Lean standards.

The role requires at least 5 years in Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing setting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering.
Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to productivity improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Support value stream mapping and operational excellence initiatives.
Lead waste reduction and productivity improvement across manufacturing and support functions.
Provide technical support to manufacturing teams in initiating and sustaining Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate with R&D, Process Development, and Equipment Engineering teams to ensure new products, processes, and equipment are designed using Lean principles.
Prepare, maintain, and present Industrial Engineering data, standards, and reports in accordance with company guidelines.
