Job summary

Boston Scientific in Malaysia seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to perform full manufacturing engineering duties. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop and modify manufacturing documentation, support new product introductions, and ensure product quality, cost and output objectives are met. Travel may be required for project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in a related field.
• People management and leadership experience is required.
• Proven experience in both equipment engineering and manufacturing operations.
• Line transfer experience (e.g. production or site transfer activities) will be an added advantage.
• Strong skills in Problem Solving, Report Writing, Process Improvement, and Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, order and commission key process equipment to CGMP in Operations Engineering Cycle to meet business objectives.
• Act as engineering process owner for the area.
• Develop and modify manufacturing documentation and procedures to support products and new product introductions.
• Ensure new products meet business, quality, output and cost goals.
• Develop and modify manufacturing processes to improve quality and output.
• Ensure product/process requirements are met for components, assembly, tooling and supplier specifications.
• Perform product/process/vendor qualification activities as required.
• Support MRB and quality initiatives to achieve quality goals.
