Job summary

Molex Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Plating Manufacturing Engineering Engineer to strengthen plating capabilities across Consumer and Commercial Solutions manufacturing in Malaysia. You will develop, optimise, and share best practices with the plating team and collaborate with Design, Tool Engineering, and SQE to drive improvements.

You will lead product development and transfer projects, working with internal and external stakeholders to meet cost, quality, and production goals while ensuring

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead plating new product development, modified product development, and transfer project initiatives.
• Collaborate with Japan Korea Design Eng, Tool Eng, and Quality teams to improve product quality and throughput.
• Plan, track and report plating project status and activities to internal teams.
• Ensure improvements comply with approved methods, procedures, and quality standards.
• Drive cost savings and productivity through Lean Six Sigma and related methodologies.
