Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Workday Technical Lead to own the Workday technical function within the HCM ecosystem. You will lead a specialist team, oversee daily support, manage release cycles, and convert HR requirements into configurations while driving integration performance across SAP and other systems.

The role demands deep Workday HCM expertise, hands-on integration experience, and strong leadership. The position is hybrid, offering flexible benefits and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Workday HCM, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior support role.
• Broad module knowledge across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Reporting.
• Hands-on integration experience with EIB, Workday Studio, PECI, and CCB.
• Proven Workday configuration skills and strong leadership abilities.
• Workday Pro certifications are highly desirable; Prism and Extend experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Workday support specialists.
• Oversee daily support and troubleshooting across Workday HCM modules.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges.
• Plan, test, and deploy Workday release cycles and feature updates.
• Convert business and HR requirements into Workday configurations.
• Own integrations between Workday and enterprise systems, including SAP.
• Track system performance and drive optimisation strategies.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base materials.
