Jora Malaysia is seeking a Workday Technical Lead for a 2-year contract to oversee the HCM ecosystem and mentor a specialists team. You will be the technical authority across the business, managing complex integrations and release cycles.

The role requires hands-on Workday expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record in implementing and supporting Workday HCM. A hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits are provided, along withLearning on demand and education assistance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Workday HCM, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior support role.
• Broad module knowledge across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Reporting.
• Hands-on integration experience with EIB, Workday Studio, PECI, and CCB.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Workday support specialists.
• Oversee daily support and troubleshooting across Workday HCM modules.
• Plan, test, and deploy Workday release cycles and feature updates.
• Own integrations between Workday and enterprise systems, including SAP.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base materials.

The Role

Step up and own the Workday technical function:

• Lead and develop a team of Workday support specialists
• Oversee daily support and troubleshooting across Workday HCM modules
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges
• Plan, test, and deploy Workday release cycles and feature updates
• Convert business and HR requirements into Workday configurations
• Own integrations between Workday and enterprise systems, including SAP
• Track system performance and drive optimisation strategies
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base materials

What We're Looking For

A Workday expert ready to lead:

• 5+ years in Workday HCM, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior support role
• Broad module knowledge across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Reporting
• Hands‑on integration experience with EIB, Workday Studio, PECI, and CCB
• Proven Workday configuration skills and strong leadership abilities
• Workday Pro certifications are highly desirable; Prism and Extend experience is a plus
