Job summary

Ocean Pacific is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Johor Bahru distribution operations. The role oversees daily warehouse activities, coaches teams, and drives safety, accuracy and productivity across receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in warehouse roles, strong WMS knowledge and a track record of motivating teams. This full-time position emphasizes safety, efficiency and continuous improvement within a dynamic logistics

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
Proven ability to manage and motivate warehouse teams effectively.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and work in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is advantageous.
Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or warehouse operations are preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance evaluation
Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Maintain warehouse safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate records
Optimise warehouse layout and storage procedures to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimise errors and product damage
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments
Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly
Prepare reports on warehouse operations, productivity metrics and key performance indicators
Address and resolve operational issues and staff concerns in a professional manner
