Pinpoint Asia is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer in Kuala Lumpur for a leading fintech platform. You will lead a small but high-performing team, own architecture, and drive the modernization of core platforms while integrating AI into daily development and debugging tasks.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years hands-on software engineering experience.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript with strong typing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 across two squads.
• Hands-on development using a modern stack (NestJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL).
• Modernize platforms and drive product execution.
• Incorporate AI tools (Claude CODE, OpenAI) into daily workflows.
• Communicate architectural trade-offs and own end-to-end delivery.
• Pass a rigorous technical deep-dive interview and live coding test.
