Job summary

Gen is seeking a Head of AI to lead our AI organization in Kuala Lumpur, guiding strategy, architecture and delivery across data science, engineering and product teams. You will drive high-impact AI initiatives, ensure alignment with business goals and build scalable, reliable AI platforms.

The role demands proven leadership in fast-moving fintech or digital platforms, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on guidance to teams across ML lifecycle and platform needs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading multidisciplinary AI or ML organisations.
• Proven track record building and scaling teams and leaders.
• Ability to translate complex AI investments into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI organization across ML Solutions, ML Engineering, MLOps and platform capabilities.
• Set strategic direction for AI in MoneyLion and translate goals into roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Build and empower managers and technical leads across the org.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of AI systems from ideation to production and retirement.
• Partner with senior leadership on org design, headcount planning and long-term evolution.
