Job summary

Lancesoft Malaysia is seeking an experienced System Engineer Lead to own and drive enterprise infrastructure operations. The role focuses on leading system and infrastructure activities, ensuring reliable server configurations, backups, storage performance, and network health across the environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in system administration with leadership experience and a track record of maintaining high-availability infrastructure in enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in System Administration / Infrastructure Engineering with senior or lead experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior System/Infrastructure Engineers.
• Proven ability to manage enterprise infrastructure operations and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day system and infrastructure operations.
• Perform server configuration, administration, patching and troubleshooting.
• Manage Backup & Recovery solutions and ensure successful backup/restore.
• Oversee Storage infrastructure – SAN/NAS, capacity & performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot Networking – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing & Switching.
• Monitor system, storage and network performance.
• Handle infrastructure incidents, escalations and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams; mentor juniors.
