Job summary

EnerMech is seeking a Project Engineer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to support subsea pipeline and pre-commissioning projects. This hands-on role requires over 10 years of experience in subsea environments and strong technical skills. Key responsibilities include coordinating project execution, technical proposal preparation, and engaging with clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local Malaysian supply chain and experience in project execution in the APAC region. Fluent English is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience within subsea/pipeline/pre-commissioning environments.
• Strong technical understanding with a willingness to be hands-on.
• Dewatering with Nitrogen Membrane spread and Coil tubing experience ideal.
• Good knowledge of the local Malaysian supply chain and vendor landscape.
• Exposure to business development or client interaction an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of subsea pipeline and pre-commissioning projects.
• Coordinate mobilisation of personnel, equipment, and vessels.
• Assist in pipeline engineering scope including calculations and testing.
• Support preparation of technical proposals and execution plans.
