Job summary
Airswift is seeking a senior Principal Subsea Engineer in KL, Malaysia, for a one-year renewable contract to lead subsea engineering, pipeline advanced engineering, and finite element analysis within a complex project environment.
The role focuses on supporting technical delivery across design, analysis, fabrication, installation, and cross-disciplinary coordination, with emphasis on SURF, deepwater, and pipeline integrity.
Qualifications
- Experience in SURF and deepwater projects.
- Specialist subsea pipeline engineering expertise.
- Experience solving complex pipeline problems with minimal guidance.
- Led multidisciplinary engineering teams or supported project delivery.
- Experience preparing design basis documents, technical specifications, design reports, and engineering procedures.
- Experience supporting fabrication, installation, procurement, vendor reviews, and technical query resolution.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, analysis, fabrication, and installation coordination across the project.
- Provide multidisciplinary engineering coordination across design, fabrication, and marine teams.
- Deliver pipeline advanced engineering and subsea design integrity for complex projects.
- Solve complex pipeline-related problems with minimal guidance and strong technical oversight.
