Job summary

Worley in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Principal Marine Pipelines Engineer to lead engineering for submarine pipelines and related structures on our local projects.

You will mentor engineers, ensure technical quality, coordinate with other disciplines, and deliver design deliverables in compliance with Worley standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• We expect a strong background in oil and gas with submarine pipelines experience.
• Experience delivering FEED/ Detailed Design for pipelines and related structures.
• Familiarity with international codes (DNV, ASME, API, ISO).
• Proficiency with pipeline design software and related tools.
• Ability to lead and train junior engineers and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Prepare design premises, Basis of Design and specifications.
• Perform analyses and modeling for pipelines and related structures.
• Coordinate with Lead Engineer and other disciplines to meet schedule.
• Mentor subordinate engineers and support QA/HSE requirements.
• Prepare reports, drawings and 3D models as required.
• Address customer queries and ensure technical compliance with standards.
• Support project variances, risks, and change management.
