Job summary

MBF Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Chef to join our sport bar cafe team in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead kitchen operations, develop menus, and oversee service quality, ensuring food safety and exceptional presentation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, creativity in menu design, and a passion for culinary arts while coordinating with events and housekeeping teams to deliver a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a chef or in a similar culinary role.
• Expertise in sports bar cafe and menu development.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate kitchen operations, including staff management and workflow organization.
• Develop and design menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to meet quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and timely meal preparation.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage kitchen budgets.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
