Job summary
Agilent Technologies in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a seasoned automation engineer to lead production-floor workflow modeling and capacity studies using Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master/PhD in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Computer Engineering.
- 8+ years in smart manufacturing, factory automation, or automation engineering.
- Hands-on with Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and production-workflow optimization.
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols.
Responsibilities
- Lead production-floor workflow, capacity, material-flow, and resource-utilization studies.
- Develop discrete-event simulation models and scenario logic for production lines and routing.
- Coordinate integration of machines with Ignition SCADA and data-collection systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, scalable automation solutions.
