Job summary

NuEnergy Holdings Berhad is hiring a Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, to oversee large-scale solar infrastructure projects from start to finish. You will lead site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and workers, ensuring works align with drawings, specs and HSE standards while coordinating with project managers and stakeholders.

The role requires 5–7+ years in infrastructure project delivery, preferably in solar/renewable energy, with PMP/PRINCE2

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or similar project management certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee overall site construction activities from commencement to completion.
• Lead site teams including site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and workers.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion according to the approved schedule.
• Coordinate daily site activities, manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Ensure implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements at site.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, clients, authorities and stakeholders on site matters.
• Review and resolve technical, construction and coordination issues.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Maintain proper site records including daily reports, progress updates, site instructions and construction documentation.
• Support project planning, progress reporting, cost control and variation works.
• Ensure materials delivered to site meet project requirements and are properly managed.
• Driver continuous improvement in site productivity, quality and safety performance.
