Job summary

NuEnergy Holdings Berhad in Kota Damansara, Selangor is seeking a Project Manager to lead solar energy projects from planning through handover. Based in PJ, you will coordinate engineers, contractors, and O&M teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies (technical, financial, environmental).
• Collaborate with engineers on system design and layout.
• Evaluate and select technologies (e.g., photovoltaic panels, inverters).
• Plan project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules.
• Oversee day-to-day operations from site preparation to commissioning.
• Coordinate between cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction).
• Monitor project progress and resolve delays or issues.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are maintained.
• Prepare and manage project budgets; track expenditures and control costs.
• Approve vendor invoices and ensure financial compliance.
• Identify and mitigate cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with regulations; obtain permits and approvals.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation (designs, reports, quality checks).
• Ensure smooth transition from construction to operations; train O&M teams; finalize warranty docs.

Project Manager (Based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya)

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Design

• Conduct feasibility studies (technical, financial, environmental)
• Collaborate with engineers on system design and layout
• Evaluate and select technologies (e.g., photovoltaic panels, inverters)
• Plan project timelines, milestones, and deliverables

Project Management

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules
• Oversee day-to-day operations from site preparation to commissioning

Construction Supervision

Requirement:

Education: Degree in engineering, renewable energy, or project management

Experience:3–5 years in solar or large infrastructure projects

Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar is often a plus

Skills: Project management, technical knowledge of solar systems, budgeting, leadership, negotiation, HSE awareness
