NuEnergy Holdings Berhad is seeking a Project Manager based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, to lead solar project planning, design, and construction from site preparation to commissioning.

The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, developing detailed schedules, and ensuring HSE compliance, with 3–5 years of experience in solar or large infrastructure projects. PMP/PRINCE2 certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Monitor project progress and resolve delays or issues.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are maintained.
• Supervise civil, mechanical, and electrical installations; coordinate site logistics and resources.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Prepare and manage project budgets; track expenditures and control costs.

The company is expanding and we are now hiring a Project Manager.

Project Manager (Based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya)

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Design

• Conduct feasibility studies (technical, financial, environmental)
• Collaborate with engineers on system design and layout
• Evaluate and select technologies (e.g., photovoltaic panels, inverters)
• Plan project timelines, milestones, and deliverables

Project Management

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules
• Oversee day-to-day operations from site preparation to commissioning
• Coordinate between cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, etc.)
• Monitor project progress and resolve delays or issues
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are maintained

Construction Supervision

• Supervise civil, mechanical, and electrical installations
• Coordinate site logistics, contractor work, and resource allocation
• Oversee testing and commissioning of equipment and systems

Budget and Cost Control

• Prepare and manage project budgets
• Track expenditures and control costs
• Approve vendor invoices and ensure financial compliance
• Identify and mitigate cost overruns

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations
• Obtain permits and approvals (environmental, construction, grid connection, etc.)
• Maintain comprehensive documentation (designs, reports, quality checks)

Operations Handover

• Ensure smooth transition from construction to operations
• Train operations and maintenance (O&M) teams
• Finalize documentation and warranty agreements

Requirement

Education

Degree in engineering, renewable energy, or project management

Experience

3–5 years in solar or large infrastructure projects

Certifications

PMP, PRINCE2, or similar is often a plus

Skills
