Job summary

NuEnergy Holdings Berhad, based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, seeks a Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager to oversee all site construction activities for large-scale solar infrastructure. Based in Kota Damansara, you will lead engineers, supervisors and subcontractors while ensuring adherence to drawings, specs and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and 5–7+ years of relevant experience, with PMP/PRINCE2 being a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects (preferably solar/renewable).
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is an advantage.
• Key skills: Project management, budgeting, leadership, negotiation, and HSE awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee overall site construction activities from commencement to completion.
• Lead site teams including site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and workers.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor progress and ensure completion according to schedule.
• Coordinate daily site activities, manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Ensure implementation of HSE requirements at site.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, authorities and stakeholders on site matters.
• Review and resolve technical, construction and coordination issues.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and timely completion of works.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
